Carlotta the Cow's Big Event

Carlotta the cow had a problem of sorts
She liked running races and competing in sports
The Barnyard Olympic Day soon would take place
And Carlotta so wanted to win the big race
But a cow in the race was un'herd' of bizarre
Everyone knew she wouldn't get far
But Carlotta was confident, so self assured
She said she could win it, she must keep her word
But the Barnyard Society scoffed and they scorned
"You can't win this race, you will lose!" they all warned
"The track is too hard, no cow ever placed
Let alone win the Gold Cup or even third place
You must run 50 yards then jump over a rope
Swim a small lake then ski down a slope
Then bike up a hill to finish the race
Carlotta, you'll lose and in 'udder' disgrace!"
But she knew she could do it, she trained for a week
Her muscles grew strong and her form became sleek
She worked and she ran, then Olympic Day came
Carlotta could see this was her claim to fame
The other events took place in their turn
There was horse shoes to toss and medals to earn
At last it was time for the big race event
To the starting line all the contestants then went
There was Peter the pig and Henry the horse
Goatrude the goat and Carlotta (of Course)
The starting gun fired and off they all ran
Carlotta was trailing (but, she had a plan)
The others passed by, they jumped and they swam
They skied down the slopes, hopped on bikes and began
THE LAST BIG EVENT
They peddled and peddled and up the hill went
Before they had peddled halfway up the hill
Their muscles grew tired and so did their will
Carlotta was keeping a nice steady pace
And now saw her chance to win the big race
She took a deep breath, threw her bike in high gear
Peddled real fast and came up from the rear
The crowd started cheering "Go Carlotta! Win!"
She raced past the others and flashed a big grin
She won the big race and the Gold Medal Cup
But the next day at milking, something was up
Terry the milk hand scratched at his chin
He said "This can't be!" then he started to grin
It seems when he hooked up Carlotta's udder
All that came out was a BIG GLOB OF BUTTER!
